Shawnee Smith, born July 3, 1970, at a height of 5'3 is a famous American actor and singer. Smith is popularly known for her role as Amanda Young from the Saw films and as Linda from the CBS comedy Becker. Smith was part of the group metal Fydolla ho, with which she toured both the United States and United Kingdom. She also is a member of Smith & Pyle, the desert-country band that was created by Missi Pyle. Shawnee Smith is the daughter of Jim Smith, a former US Air Force Pilot and financial planner, who also worked as an oncology nursing. Smith was born in Orangeburg South Carolina. In her early years, she moved with her family out of South Carolina (now Van Nuys) to California. When she was two her parents got divorced and at eight her mother was married again. She went to Ranchito Avenue Elementary School in Panorama City Los Angeles and Madison Jr. High in North Hollywood. North Hollywood High School was situated in North Hollywood, California. Her performance in the show as Rebecca Bunch Rachel won the award in the year 2016: Golden Globe for Best Actress in a TV Series - Musical, or Comedy the 2016 Critics Choice Award for Best actress in a television Comedy and the 2016 TCA Award for Individual Achievement in Comedy. In 2019, she was awarded the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Original Music and lyrics with songwriting partners Jack Dolgen and the late Adam Schlesinger for Antidepressants Are So Not a Big Deal. Rachel is currently doing an extensive tour with her live show Death Let Me Do My Special for the summer/spring of 2023. In the year 2019, Rachel sold out Radio City Music Hall when she performed Crazy Ex-Girlfriend: Live as part of a concert tour. Rachel also performed in her tour as a solo artist, What's Happening to Me in My Life? The tour also featured a residency for a period of one week in the venue Just For Laughs.
